Objective:
My aim as an assistant marketing manager focusing on content was to develop digital strategies and create engaging content that would improve the company’s online presence and generate more leads
Role:
- Content Marketing and Social Media Management: Developed and executed comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, resulting in 40% increase in engagement and 2x growth in follower base
- Digital Content & Website Development: Led comprehensive website redesign project including information architecture, UX planning, and content strategy. Launched company blog with editorial calendar focused on African art, design trends, and project showcases. Wrote and optimized all website copy including homepage, services pages, portfolio section, and about us content. - Project Management: Led cross-functional team of 5 to organize the gallery's grand opening in Oniru, Lagos. Managed ₦1,500,000 budget, coordinated with vendors, and oversaw event logistics including marketing, catering, and guest experience
- Customer Support: Streamlined customer service operations using Freshdesk CRM, maintaining 24-hour response time. Processed over 100 monthly inquiries, handled escalations, managed invoicing workflow, and achieved 95% customer satisfaction rating
Results
- Drove significant social media growth by increasing Instagram followers from 3,000 to 7,000 through strategic content planning, consistent engagement, and targeted hashtag campaigns within one year of joining the company.
