Objective

My main goal as a content marketer was to educate and let people know about the different health insurance options available, develop digital campaigns that would drive action and live drive engagements to our social media platforms and websites.

My Role

  1. Content Creation and Social Media Management: Responsible for the ideation, creation, and scheduling of social media content across the following social media channels: Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook ensuring consistency and clarity of the organisation’s message.
  2. Community Management: Responsible for actively engaging with community members across all platforms, planning, executing and attending physical and online events to foster relationships.
  3. Project Management: Co-managed Several Projects including the Customer Service Week campaign, Telemedicine Campaign and HPV Awareness Program.
  4. Strategic Communication: Developed Communication strategies that align with the company’s goal and wrote e-mail templates, newsletters, copy for the website and promotional materials.
  5. Customer Support: Assisted in handling all customer enquiries and DMS across all platforms on the CRM tool (Zoho Social), and forwarded escalations to the customer service department.

Results

  1. Grew followers and increased customer engagement by 50% across all digital platforms within 6 months of joining.
  2. Assisted in managing, attending and sponsoring several events, two notable ones were the Stack Reform Event organised by the College of Medicine Students of the University of Lagos and the VERVELIFE 6.0 which garnered over 1000 attendees and 200+ sign-ups for a health plan. (I also had a copy of mine published on one of our stands).
  3. Planned and executed several digital campaigns, the most notable being our telemedicine campaign which resulted in the onboarding of over 300 leads online and 40% of them converted into paying customers.
